James the Pop and Locker

James is what I consider a local KC celebrity, though most of the folks in this town may just consider him a nuisance. You can generally find him with his GhettoBlasta somewhere on the Plaza whenever the weather is nicer, and generally around town wherever there is a large gathering of people. He is what you'd call a street-performer and he believes that he uses his talent of popping and locking as a positive way to reach people who may not be too familiar with his culture. He quotes KRS-One and Public Enemy as scripture and he is an incredibly genuine guy. This is a sketch that I did of him last year around this time. Enjoy!
